Southern Moon Outfitters is sponsoring a kayak fishing tournament in conjunction with the 2019 BlueWay festival.  This partner event is run by the CSRA Kayak Bass Assassins and is part of their annual Tournament Trail.  Half of the pot will be donated to Heroes on the Water, a great organization benefiting disabled veterans.
The tournament is open to all kayak fisherman if you would like to join in. Please be sure to read the attached rules and regulations in order to participate.  Contact the organizers directly with any questions regarding the tournament.

They will launch from the Baker’s Creek Boat Ramp next to the Bridge on Hwy 378 ($2-5 ramp fee, so bring extra.) It is a $20 buy in and $5 optional big fish pot. Captain’s Meeting will be at the Boat Ramp at 5:50 am. Weigh in will be at Southern Moon Outfitter’s Tent on the festival beach at 3:30 pm. If participating in the tournament, bring your families and friends to head on over and enjoy the festival activities for the day while you are out fishing. Presentation of the prize money and donation to Heroes on the Water will take place on the main stage around 4:30 pm. Stay after for the awesome band, food, and fun!
